I thought it might be convenient to have a central place where additions to Straight Talk could be easily accessed. These pages are also in their respective categories, but this way you won't miss a new page because it’s “buried” in a different place on the site. There’s a lot of stuff on this site. I hope this “staging area” has been helpful. Thanks for trying it out. I'll rotate in any new pages as they fall out. And I guess the new links will stay for a few months, at least. Behistun Rock and the Assyrian Royal library What if you could trace your heritage back to one of the 12 Tribes of Israel? You wouldn't have to look very far if your family came from the British Isles or most of northwest Europe. That’s where the Lost Tribes ended up. They appeared to be lost because the history we have doesn't call them by their Bible names. Behistun Rock, over in Iran, tells the whole story and is confirmed by border reports found in the tablets of the Royal Assyrian library. The Lost Tribes are no longer lost. How Does God Talk To You? One writer has written that if there’s a God, He surely is communicating with His creation. I believe this is true, not only in big ways, but on the individual level. Is it the same for the devil? Are your thoughts your own? Hmmm. There's a transcription of this program here You Aren't Really YOU God is a spirit. The devil is a spirit. The Angels are spirits. And You are a spirit. If You are a spirit, what is your body? Your Self, your Spirit, You, manipulate energy to form a tool that allows You to experience the physical reality. That tool is your physical body. Your physical body is not You. This idea is nothing new. It’s been taught since there were people. The point is not that your body, your brain, your mind is not You. The point is why we have bodies at all. Extending outward, the point is, why is there a physical reality? 12 Part Frame of Reference Study of Salvation. I've taken twelve New Testament verses and looked between the lines to see what the Frame of Reference is for "salvation." What is it, in practical terms? Who gets it? How? What are the results? Get out your Strong's and put on your thinking cap, as we used to say. I think when you finish this study you'll be one of those who can give a solid answer when asked what it means to be "saved." Good and Wise? In connection with the resurrection study, I want to expand on the idea that Jesus was a Good and Wise teacher. This idea is what most folks would like to believe. Or more specifically, it’s what they want Jesus to be. Thinking only of the human plane, they can’t allow that Jesus was Divine. But they can’t discount his teaching. Jesus was not a great moral teacher. If he was just a man. A NEW FEATURE AT THE ARCHIVE: TRANSCRIPTIONS. This version is held on one CD and is formatted in MP3. The individual pieces are separated into their own tracks. If your MP3 player lacks Fast Forward and Reverse, you won't have to start at the beginning of the book each time. There are 56 tracks altogether. I have also transferred Fifty Pieces into PDF format. This is convenient for searching the text and for printing individual pieces. NEW ADDITIONS TO THE STRAIGHT TALK ARCHIVE: I've added a new section to the Archive. It's called Recent. It will contain the last ten to twenty programs. These programs will eventually rotate into their appropriate categories, but I will always leave the ten most recent programs in the section.
