The School

This school provides the priceless medium through which its students will have every opportunity to grow cognitive and emotionally and complete their spiritual needs through the knowledge of themselves as full and complete.

The teachers are firmly grounded in practical living Philosophy and Psychology and have proven communication skills. They are empathetic, non-judgemental and consistently care for their students without any manipulation.

New students are invited to enroll at any time. The only entrance requirement is that of deep desire to know oneself, open mind, intellectual sincerity and the readiness to change the things one can.

Having enrolled, students will have access to the full range of facilities the school has to offer, which include a quarterly news letter, including students letters to the editor and teachers. A 1780 page home study course is available to all students complete with supporting material. There are local lectures, talks, workshops and direct access to the teachers by mail, e-mail and telephone, including the schools head Acharya (Traditional teacher) in South India, Swami Vagishananda Saraswati.

On receipt of your completed enrollment form and subscription, your application will be processed within 30 days.

Once your application has been processed you will receive your new student pack which will include a formal welcome to the school together with a personal letter from Swami Vagishananda. Your first three months introduction to the Bhagavad-Gita Home Study Course will be enclosed with a copy of the latest newsletter. You will also be asked to complete an assessment questionnaire, which comprehensively covers details, which will enable your tutor to assess any previous study and emotional growth.

You will be issued a student identification number which will give you full access to all the special privileged areas of the web site such as Being-Shakespeare. The "Being Shakespeare" site contains the majestic and profound readings of the sonnets by our "Being Shakespeare" Jim Parimiter and his protege Tom Philips who will be guiding you through special progressive lessons on how to listen, recite, and even eventually write sonnets in the classical style.

There is also an up and coming forum for students discussion and of course many beautiful and profound mantras and slokas in Sanskrit in mp3 format soon to be made into CD's which are exclusively available to members on first release.

We are growing quickly ,continually adding new features and study material to this site. Of course without the students there is no school and as we are constantly striving to improve the facilities we offer you. We are also using your subscriptions to improve and increase the material and facilities we have offer.

The "Being Shakespeare" section of the school is growing fast and is becoming very popular within Shakespearean circles. All members of the school will receive free subscription to all the aspects of the "Being Shakespeare" site and privileged discounts on the wealth of merchandise and valuable collectibles that are to come.

Within the school there is the opportunity to purchase specially selected books and tapes, CD's, free MP3 files of classical Vedic chants, prayers, poems and wise sayings in Sanskrit and English, which are updated and added to regularly, many of which are exclusively available to enrolled students only.
