"It was X, the doctor. He said, " I've got some news on the biopsy.....It wasn't what we expected. It was a Lymphoma. I'm very surprised."

I was quiet for a moment, then I asked, "What effect does this have on my life expectancy?"

"Well, " he said, " it is probably treatable - most Lymphomas are. I've sent the tissue sample to San Francisco for a more detailed reading....Sorry." He finished.

"Well, stay in touch." I said.

"Of course!"
