Once uploaded, your pages will be visible at:

not the word, username.
The file you want to display as your Entrance or Front Page MUST
be named index.htm or
index.html
What
is FTP?
FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol.
It is the process by which files are uploaded to your home directory
(/home/username/public_html)
and made public on the World Wide Web. An FTP Client can also be used
to Download files from your Home Directory to your Computer.
How
Do I FTP?
There are literally dozens of different ways. Many of the programs used
to create Web Pages have built in FTP Clients. Please consult the Help
Menu in the Program you are using to create your Web Pages to see if
an FTP Client is available for you to use.
If you cannot find an FTP Client, you may need to download one.
