Outlook Express 6 Mail Setup
Setting up a Mail Account

If it is the first time you have run Outlook Express on this computer, you will be prompted for your email settings immediately. If that happens, click here to continue.


Click on Tools and choose Accounts.

Click on the Mail tab.
Click on the Add button. Then click on the Mail option.
This will start the Internet Connection Wizard to set up your new email account.

Type your full name (exactly as you want it to appear in your e-mail messages) in the the text box and then click Next.


Type your email address into the text box (example): username@asis.com
This must all be in lower case.

Click Next.


In the Incoming mail (POP3) field type mail.asis.com
In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) field type mail.asis.com
Click Next.


Make sure the Account Name field has your ASIS username.
In the Password field type your password.

If you do not wish to type in your password every time you check your mail, check in the box to Remember password.

Click Next.


You have now completed setting up your email account.
Click Finish.

Click on Close in the Internet Accounts window.

Now you can click Send & Recv to test your new account once you are connected to the internet.
