    While the crafts-people of Williamsburg use authentic methods, they do have unrealistic "artistic freedom" as it were. While a artisan of the time would largely make a single product all his life, here people are more generally skilled as a matter of neccesity.

    The woodworkers at this shop thus made not only exquisite chairs and tables, but were able to work on harpsichords and printing presses as well.
